Welcome to
St. Margaret's Church
A village church in the inner city
St. Margaret’s is a challenging Christian community, dynamic, creative, inclusive of a wide variety of viewpoints. We are a people of global concern, striving through education to develop alternatives to conflict and injustice.
To do this, we build local networks that make a difference. We value religious and cultural diversity, working with Faith communities as equal partners.
St. Margaret’s takes as its role model the values of Jesus as recorded in the Gospels: compassion, encouragement, forgiveness. Contemporary role models are also a source of guidance.
We are both a place and a people raising awareness, leading to personal empowerment, or in traditional language, spiritual well being.
